Our Programs
TQYC’s programs are built by and for POC trans and queer youth — rooted in collective leadership, cultural richness, and the belief that our communities deserve more than survival. Every program we offer is culturally responsive, antiracist, trauma-informed, and harm-reductive. These aren’t services delivered to youth. They’re spaces co-created with them.

Trans & Queer People of Color
TQPOC Services
YYAC members navigate the world at the intersection of race, gender, and sexuality — and TQPOC exists to honor exactly that. This program creates space for POC trans and queer youth to build community, celebrate cultural identity, and co-create radically joyous, affirming experiences. Through community-led projects, Socratic Kikis, and partnerships with initiatives like S.P.I.C.E. and Beach Blackout, TQPOC centers the full, complex beauty of QTBIPOC lives.
What we offer:
Community-led projects & initiative sponsorship · Socratic Kiki dialogue spaces · Art-based and YYAC-led programming · Partnerships with S.P.I.C.E., Beach Blackout, and more
Reimagining an Inclusive Society for Empowering Youth
RISE
RISE is an intergenerational (un)/learning space where 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and young adults, community partners, and TQYC staff work together to reimagine the structures and systems around them. RISE centers access to decolonized, queer, POC, and anti-carceral knowledge — and invites youth to be curious, imaginative, and bold in building alternative community futures. Through RISE, we’re not just passing down knowledge. We’re building new practices together.
RISE also houses TQYC’s Mental Wellness services — designed to meet youth where they are, beyond the traditional psychiatric carceral system. Support includes harm reduction supplies, customized wellness kits, vetted mental health provider connections, wellness coaching, and community healing events.
What we offer:
Community safe(r) spaces for (un)/learning · Intergenerational knowledge sharing · Wellness coaching · Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA / YMHFA) certification training · SOUL healing collaboration · Harm reduction supplies · Mental wellness zine
Free Supplies

We meet folx where they are, including through our mobile closet that brings supplies directly to TQYC and community events.
What we offer:
Gender affirming supply requests (shipped directly to you) · Gender-affirming healthcare navigation · Legal name & gender marker consultation and resource referral · Mobile closet at community events · 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming gifts and merchandise
